So sadly enough, my last day at Draftfcb was on Jan. 7th. It was a sad end to an amazing time there. I can't believe it has been 6 months already. I guess time flies when you're constantly working like a mad man trying to keep with deadlines and trying to fit in a social life/love life while juggling visitors constantly coming every weekend or going home to satisfy a mom that's giving me the guilt trip. Who would have figured?
Anyways, they threw me a pretty cool surprise party. Toni, my (or I should say now, 'the') CD totally pulled some trickery on my and led me into her lair for an "exit interview". I guess I was so into it and really wanted to tell her how much I will miss the team that I didn't notice that everyone else was shuffling off to the conference room. Then she goes and says that she as a gift for me but it's in the other room. OMG, like that wasn't obivious enough, I actually DID think she had a gift for me! HA! Then I heard all the commotion and was tottally being dramatic when I walked in, grabbing my chest and feigning the biggest surprise face of all! Then we popped open bottles of the finest wine and champagne Tiffany (the assistant) could buy! Yes, good times.
They actually did give me a going away gift though, it was one of those white Gevalia Carafe's (RV $19.99) with all their signatures on it! It was sooooo sweet. Then we went to the bar and I had a drink before I had to take off and meet the other associates. Awe, I will miss those guys.
